Sapporo Yakiimo Terrace (Baked Sweet Potato Festival)

The sweet potato festival coincides with the Sapporo Autumn Illuminations in Nakajima Park, and it’s a real winter warmer!
Entry is complete FREE into the festival and there are plenty of sweet potato stalls selling different types of sweet potatoes from the region, with both savoury and unique sweet options such as sweet potato donuts to try!
There is plenty of sheltered areas to eat your sweet potato goodies and trash collection onsite.
You can easily reach Nakajima Park on the Namboku Subway Line. It can be pretty cold at this time of the year, so bring a warm coat and gloves if you are visiting in the evening.
