Furano

Locals' Review - Furano is an Olympic grade mountain, having hosted World Cup snow events. The Furano slopes are set on two sides of the mountain in
the areas of Kitanomie zone and Furano zone. These areas provide access to long and varied runs, with some very steep terrain in places. Furano is located
centrally in Hokkaido and therefore is home to dry fluffy powder snow. Overall Furano is a big mountain with a lot of potential, however, the ski patrol are
notorious for being quite strict about off-piste riding.

Access - 1 hour from Asahikawa, 2 hours 20 mins from Sapporo.
